For HGV or larger vehicles it may be more suitable to use rear view cameras. Flush mounted or high mounted with night vision these are a real aid to help with vehicles that have a severly restricted view.
Linked to a LCD screen at the front, the cameras will give you a view of any objects behind. The cameras can be activated when reverse gear is engaged or can be used like a rear view mirror and switched on manually.
